Butter Pecan Cake


1 package butter pecan cake mix

1 can coconut-pecan frosting

4 eggs

1 cup water

3/4 cup oil

1 package pecan pieces
Butter tube pan generously. Toast pecans and press them into buttered pan. Mix all other ingredients including the can of frosting to make batter. Pour batter over nuts. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 1-1 1/2 hours.
This cake is very moist and delicious and will not require any glaze or other topping.
