You may remember that I used the same mascara brand since I began wearing makeup because it was the BEST.  Of course it has been discontinued and now I can't seem to find one that doesn't disappoint.  My former mascara was smudgeproof, waterproof, everything proof- it did not budge EVER!!  Now every brand I try flakes and disappears (even waterproof) by the end of the day.  It is driving me crazy because I like to put on makeup and it last ALL day despite what the day may hold.  Currently my pencil eyeliner that is also supposed to be waterproof is also failing.  My face gets oily as the day goes on and the brands I find now just slide right off and I need you help.   Please share any brands you have had success with if you have a similar problem. Some people are lucky and never seem to have these issues, but not me.  Any help is appreciated.

I am trying my first ever link up to Kelly's Korner SUYL (Show us your life) segments.  Hopefully I will get some new blog friends after this.  I am a make-up junkie and I have been since I was about 15 years old.  Here are some of my favorite products.

This powder is great alone or with foundation for a long lasting look

I have only been using this in the last year, but it makes a huge difference in coverage.

This has been the absolute best mascara. I have used it since I was 15 years old and now it is discontinued so I have to find some place online to purchase it.  This stuff does not come off.  I need an eyeliner pencil that is just as reliable...any suggestions?

I have tons of eye shadows, but I have to say MAC has great pigment and staying power and it lasts forever.

Beauty Tips and Products

1. Aveeno body lotion- this is great for a base lotion to hydrate skin with no odor to compete with your perfume.

2. I had used Shaper hairspray for the last 15 years and recently changed to this hairspray and I absolutely love it. (Get the purple label only- found at Walmart.)

3. I work really long hours and need a foundation that will stay put and this is it!

4. I have used this mascara since I was 15 years old which is longer than I care to admit, but I try others, but always come back to this one. It stays on until you take it off.

5. This is another product that is long wearing. I love makeup, but I do not like to reapply. I want products with staying power that last for a long time. I use a variey of eye shadows and blushes because I have found witht he right base, these things will last regardless of the type you use.
