Book Review - Beach Reads

I read both of these books over the course of two days at the beach.  They were both very good and I highly recommend them both.  I wish I had read The Art of Racing in the Rain first and Heaven is for Real second, but either is a great choice for a really quick read!

A love story

I recently picked up the Pioneer Woman's book on a shopping trip to Sams.  Naturally I left in my cart by mistake because it was the smallest thing in my purchase- ha.  I called the store and a nice person had turned it in so I went back to get it the next day.  I started reading it and read about 150 pages before I would put it down.  Ree is one of the reasons I was hooked on blogging early on and this book felt like I was reading about a dear friend.  If you follow her blog I would recommend this as a great little book.  If you don't read her blog please check it out soon.

Good Book

I read this book in the last two evenings. I found it in paperback at Sams for $4.98.  I don't know much about the author but my husband listens to him on talk radio. The book has nothing to do with politics, but it was a great way to get your heart in the right place for the Christmas season.

Another Good Book

Nicholas Sparks never disappoints.  I started this yesterday and finished it tonight....and still managed a few loads of laundry - but not much else.  I am picky about my books, but I know what I like and this is definitely one I would recommend to others.

If you have not read both of these you may want to put them on your list.  Just sayin...
